Cover illustration and design for Lex Starwalker's debut scifi novel Critical Balance published in 2025.
The client asked for a cover with the book's two main protagonists, a robotics technician Tia Moreno and an AI expert Yee Minji. I decided to incorporate the third major character into the cover: the space station Unity. In the book, Tia and Minji support and complement each other, which gave me the idea to visually make them balance on each other in zero gravity to have my own play on the book title.
